The elegant sitting room at the back of the house has large windows overlooking the orchard and is decorated in golds and rich reds with an eclectic mix of antique furniture including a large Victorian painting of George Muntz of Umberslade Hall in hunting pink.

The focal point of the room is an open fire which can be lit for guests on cold nights making a cosy, tranquil area to relax in the evening before going out for dinner at one of the fine local restaurants or pubs.
